Sold for:
$11,875

A pair of Elvis Presley Nautic Neostyle glasses. Gold tone frames, style marked "140" and "822." Wide bridge and temples. The glasses were used in the documentary This Is Elvis (Warner Bros., 1981) and worn by actor Johnny Harra, who portrayed Presley at age 42. According to the accompanying letter of authenticity from Harra, wardrobe for the film came from Presley's own closet, including these glasses. At the end of filming, Harra tried to return the glasses, but he was told he could keep them as a thank-you for his wonderful performance. Harra later had the temple engraved "Johnny Harra TCB." Also accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Presley collector Greg Page. Categories: Elvis Presley
