A Sammy Davis Jr. tuxedo made by Sy Devore for Davis’ appearance as an honoree at the 1987 Kennedy Center Honors. Comprising a jacket, vest, and trousers. A traditional tuxedo jacket with satin lapels, two exterior flap pockets, one breast pocket, and double vent at back. The interior is lined with black satin, two interior pockets each with a sewn-in label, one Sy Devore label, the other reading “Individually Styled for Sammy Davis Jr. for Kennedy Center Awards Dec. 5-6, 1987.” The vest is satin backed and has four-button closure and two welt pockets. Matching trousers have a tuxedo stripe to each side, zipper and hook and bar closure, two exterior pockets, and an adjustable waistband. No size present. Categories: Sammy Davis Jr.
