A Nudie Cohn suit created for Felix Pappalardi. Pappalardi can be seen wearing the suit on the 1976 album cover of Felix Pappalardi and the Creation and in other promotional photographs. The off-white suit is composed of a jacket and trousers, each embroidered with floral embellishments, and monogrammed "FP" at each sleeve. The jacket has a pointed yoke, curved arrow welt pockets and interior Nudie's Rodeo Tailors label, no size present. The trousers feature arrow tab belt loops, a Nudie's Rodeo Tailors label at waistband and an additional label that reads "Mr. Felix Pappalordi [sic]/ Date 30 1/2 / 32 1/2 / No. 1020." Pappalardi is well known for his work as the producer of Cream and as the bassist for one of America's first hard rock acts, Mountain. Accompanied by a newspaper clipping showing Pappalardi in the suit. Also present is a handwritten letter from Pappalardi's former wife, Gail Collins, regarding a property appraisal with the appraisal and the original transmittal envelope. Collins was a lyricist for Cream. She was convicted of criminally negligent homicide in the shooting death of Pappalardi in 1983. Categories:
