A dark blue two-piece suit worn by Johnny Mack Brown as Brooks Claybourne in Belle of the Nineties (Paramount, 1934) starring Mae West. The dark blue two-piece suit with white pinstriping has the tailor's label sewn inside the breast pocket with the name "Johnnie (sic) Mack Brown" and production date "Mar. 1934" inscribed. Brown wore the suit during a scene near the beginning of the film when Ruby Carter (West) first arrives in New Orleans and drops something on the street as she passes Claybourne. He picks up the item and rushes to return it to her and introduce himself. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity and a copy of the film. Categories:
