Blek Le Rat has been spraying stencils decades before the celebrated stencils Banksy and Bambi. Although titled Running Man, there is much debate surrounding the subject of the present stencil - is the man actually running or is he stubbing his toe? Blek le Rat's simplistic rendering of the stencil has been criticized by some fans as unoriginal, however Banksy has been quoted saying, "'Everything I think I've painted something slightly original, I find out that Blek Le Rat has done it as well.
