M16 VS AK47 is one of the most inspirational messages of peace completed by Fairey in the beginning of the 21st century. The two often-compared military grade weapons are held high in the air by unseen subjects. What the viewer does see however is that instead of bullets the guns are sprouting flowers. Fairey's call to end violence and promotion of peace is one of his most confrontational and blatant messages by the OBEY GIANT.
