Set of five vacuum form life-masks used to create the make up for Michael Jackson's make up in "The Wiz" (Universal Pictures, 1978). Nineteen-year-old Michael Jackson had his face cast to produce these models in order for the make-up artists to design his Scarecrow makeup. Four of the masks are blank; one is painted with a cat-like design. According to Quincy Jones Jackson studied the movements of cheetahs, panthers and gazelles for his movements in the film. In 1980 Jackson, who was critically acclaimed for his role, said that his experience working on "The Wiz" was the greatest of his life thus far. 14 by 7 1/2 by 5 inches Categories: Michael Jackson
