Ellen Granter (American, Contemporary), "A Little Thing". Oil on canvas depicting a lone small fluffy dark feathered bird perched on a telephone wire. Signed lower left "Granter". Framed 19.5" square. Unframed 18" square. Granter is represented by several galleries including Anne Irwin Fine Art in Atlanta, Georgia. Her work is included in numerous corporate collections: Boston Private Bank, Liberty Mutual Insurance, The Oyster Harbors Club, Enterprise Bank of Andover, Pearson Prentice Hall. She has exhibited at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, the Whistler House Museum of Art, and the Concord Art Association. Granter has been a member of the Copley Society, Boston since 2002. Her artwork also appears on the cover of the best selling book "The Help".
