Francis Welsh Wright was the wife of John Lloyd Wright and daughter-in-law of Frank Lloyd Wright. The inspiration for the screen was an ancient Han Dynasty vase owned by Frank Lloyd Wright. According to his son, Frank Lloyd Wright threw the vase into the trash. John, retrieved the Han, since it is legend that the vases were sacred and known to hold spirits. The large screen is fully decorated on both sides. Signed lower right. more
