Great Britain, 1975 bronze 22 h in (56 cm)
John Franham was assistant to Henry Moore from the 1960s until Moore's death in 1986.
He has exhibited at the Marlborough Gallery in London and the New Art gallery. Creation Figure: Life Force was commissioned by the Carborundum Corporation of Niagara Falls, New York in an edition of twelve. The influence of Moore is apparent in the modeling of this figurative sculpture, but there is a greater subtlety to the figurative aspects of the piece. Signed Farnham 12/12.
