Following the completion of the Arreaza residence, the commission was coined the Diamond House.
The diamond motif appears throughout Ponti's work, and manifests here in the lattice construction of the table base. The panels of the table exhibit a different color scheme on each side, echoing the colorful palette of the Villa, one of Ponti's most important, comprehensive commissions.
