Louis XV style paint and parcel gilt decorated trumeau or pier mirror with projecting cornice over a gilt cartouche panel painted with courtiers in a pastoral landscape, the mirror plate within a molded frame with shell and foliate cresting and scrolled acanthus to the corners, flanked by gilt molded panels inset with vining leafage, on cream ground. Height 62.25", width 40.25"
