Enrique Molins-Balleste Art Deco female figural bronze table lamp with frosted glass globe; signed to foot of figure "Balleste"; sits on a light peach marble plinth which in turn sits on black base; measures approximately 21" tall and 4" square to base; appears to be in Good working condition. Enrique Molins-Balleste was born in Barcelona, a Spanish artist who later moved to Paris. It would appear that Molins and Balleste are one and the same artist and he would use either Molins or Balleste to sign his pieces. Some same figures are signed Molins whilst the other is signed Balleste. Often signed his name as BAL. Famous for his theatrical and genre groups and figural lighting. Also made many sculptures using wood as the medium.
