British, late 19th/early 20th century. Hukin & Heath sterling silver caviar dish with milky circular concave glass insert for serving. Sterling silver ring with engraved horned bull at top, marked with makers marks on bottom of circular dish with fine serrated edge. Pointed caviar knife utensil with bone handle and also with makers marks (Jonathan Wilson Hukin and John Thomas Heath). Accompanied with a silverplated sardine box holder. Hinged lid decorated with scrolled foliate decoration surrounding oval medallion. Box raised on rour paw feet. Weight of cavier server (without glass insert) approximately 8 troy ounces. Diameter of dish 7.8 inches. Sardine box height 2.75 inches, width 7.2 inches, depth 6.4 inches.
