Hauber & Reuther stein; mold no. 161; German, circa late 19th, early 20th century; front left reads "Die Alten Deutschen" which roughly translates to "The Old German" over a depiction of three figures in an ancient setting drinking from horns; front right reads "Die Deutschen Von Heut" which translates as "The Germans of Today" over a depiction of late 19th century figures drinking in a tavern; inscribed to rim of pewter lid and featuring a facial depiction to thumblift; marked to bottom "HR 161"; measures approximately 9-1/4" tall to top of finial and 3-1/4" in diameter to opening.
