Maya Lin (American, b. 1959), Longitude Chaise Lounge for Knoll International-1998. Modern chaise lounge with maple wood rectangular frame below molded gently undulating plywood top raised on six squat stainless steel supports. Overall on four tubular stainless steel legs. Top covered with sage green fabric covered pad or cushion with cylindrical bolster pillow in light greyish green leather. Note: This piece of high end furniture was part of the artist/designer's Earth is (not) Flat series and as such stands as one of Maya Lin's earliest furniture designs.
