Civil War era non-commissioned officer's militia sword with bone (ivory) hilts and brass guards. Small cracks to bone on hilt. "E. Pluribus Unum" inscribed to one side of the beautifully designed scabbard while marked to the other "W.H. Horstmann & Sons, Philadelphia". Total approximate length of 31-1/2" with guard width of 5".
