The 1904 stone mansion was renovated in the 1930s, when its curtains and portières were carefully stored in the attic. Mr. Highland founded The Empire Bank (now absorbed into BB&T) and the Clarksburg Publishing Co.) Considerable wear to edges. 8" x 4"
