French, 18th century. Large antique carved stone garden finial urn with with leaved swag decoration connecting to lion's head. Base of bulbous form with large ribbed motif, raised on a circular foot on a square plinth. Height 55.5 inches. According to the consignor, purchased in Paris, France in March of 1995.
