Penetrative Card Frame. Los Angeles, F.G. Thayer, ca. 1940. A playing card pinned to a small hardwood frame is partially covered by a wooden crossbar. A finger or wand can be pushed through the crossbar (and apparently the card) without puncturing the pasteboard. 4 x 5”. Hallmarked. Pinholes from use on verso, otherwise very good.
