Morrell’s Return to Karnac. London, Ken Brooke’s House of Veroni, ca. 1950. A wooden mummy figure is removed from a temple and placed on display some distance away in a “museum.” The mummy is covered with a cloth, and when this is removed, in the mummy’s place is a cobra. The mymmy has returned to the temple of Karnac. Apparatus cleverly constructed and elaborately decorated, with many fine details. Largest piece measures 15 ¼” high. Very good. Uncommon.
