Haunted Chimneys (Jumbo). Cincinnati, Silk King Studios, ca. 1950. The magician shows two metal tubes empty, then produces a large quantity of silk handkerchiefs from the nested containers. Crackle finish tubes in silver and gold stand just over 10” high. With original box (worn) and accessories. Very good. The apparatus for this effect was produced in two sizes, this being the uncommon version. The trick is one of a very few that Harold Rice (Silk King) produced which included props. Most of his products were printed silk scarves, booklets, rope tricks, and other flat items.
