15. Blackstone, Harry (Henry Boughton). Harry Blackstone Sr.’s Bran Vase. Chicago, Roterberg, ca. 1919. Nickel plated vase which transforms confetti into a guinea pig or quantity of sweets. 10” high. One dent in base not affecting working. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from its former owner. The vase was purchased from Harry Blackstone, Jr. in 1983; it had been passed down to him by his famous father.
