977. Mahogany Regency-Style Sarcophagus Tea Caddy. English, second or third quarter nineteenth century. Rich mahogany with secondary fruitwood structure, raised on turned feet, with brass handles, diamond-shaped inlaid bone key-plate; with lidded interior compartments lined with tin. Approx. 8 ½ x 5 x 5”. Very good.
