Germain, Karl (Charles Mattmuller). Karl Germain Lyceum tour requirement TLS. American, ca. 1910. On Germain’s pictorial letterhead, he writes to “the Committee” hosting his upcoming Lyceum show in the Pacific Northwest, giving instructions as to the size of the stage, lighting, properties, and that “Stagehands and others are POSITIVELY not allowed behind the scenes; strict observance of this stipulation will be greatly appreciated and save unnecessary delay or unpleasantness.” Old folds, otherwise good. Signed “K. Germain.”
