Calvert, John. Casper Dancing Handkerchief used and signed by John Calvert. Embroidered white cotton pocket handkerchief used in Calvert’s famous “Casper” routine. One corner still tied in a knot. Boldly signed by Calvert. John Calvert (1911 – 2013) was dubbed a “real-life Indiana Jones” by his biographer William V. Rauscher. A movie star, adventurer, pilot, and boat-captain, he is best remembered as a successful illusionist whose career spanned two centuries. He performed worldwide, and Casper the Dancing Handkerchief was one of his trademark routines.
