221. Vanishing Radio. Glendale California, Loyd/Thayer, ca. 1945. A tube-type cabinet radio is covered with a decorative cloth and lifted from the table. When thrown in the air, it vanishes. Finely crafted hardwood table and radio with light-up dial. 36 ½” high. With Thayer instructions and a custom-made carrying case bearing the name of the former owner, Carlyle (Lyle Laughlin), and a TLS from Laughlin explaining how, when, and where he used the radio. Good condition.
