Deep River Boys Window Card. Empire Theatre. England, 1950s. This window card (15 x 10”) advertises the appearance of the noted American gospel and R&B group. The original lineup consisted of Harry Douglas (baritone), Vernon Gardner (first tenor), George Lawson (second tenor) and Edward Ware (bass). George Lawson was replaced by William James (Jimmy) Lundy in 1950. A.
