As demand for copies of this privately published book grew in the 1970s, Al Mann, likely in collaboration with Craig Snader in Mexico City, reportedly produced an unknown quantity of counterfeit copies such as the one offered here. Several points distinguish this copy from a true one, including poorer quality stamping, the absence of pebbling in the cloth, a pasted down correction, and brighter paper.
