Crest Magician's Cabinet. New York, Crest Trading Co., ca. 1906. Handsome early magic set with hinged lid, two instruction books (one detailing suggestions for performing, deportment and patter, the other a traditional booklet of instructions), wooden and metal apparatus (including wooden card box, fairy card box, eggs from mouth, candle and silk, jumping rose, Solomon's Pillars, etc.). Faux-leather-covered box measures 11 x 6 x 2". Box scuffed and chipped at extremities, possibly lacking props; not checked for completeness. Good condition. Uncommon.
