Birdcage Die Box. Sun Valley, Sam Fehrenz, ca. 1997. An open-ended metal birdcage is placed into a wooden box. After tilting the box back and forth, all four doors are opened to show that the cage has vanished. It is then reproduced from another, smaller box, some distance away. Similar to the traditional die box effect. Largest cage measures 5 ½ x 5 x 4". Hallmarked. Good condition.
