Appearing Canary Cage. After Martinka, ca. 1910. A brass birdcage in which the magician causes a live canary to appear. A similar cage was used by the famous Dutch conjurer Okito in his early performances. 10 x 7 x 12". Exterior brass and cloth gimmick both show wear from age, but good working condition. Uncommon.
