Rice Vase. Calcutta, D.A. Tayade, ca. 1969. Attractive wooden vase decorated in copper, brown and green hues with an intricate floral pattern. A quantity of rice placed into the vase vanishes or transforms into an orange. Finial re-glued, some scuffing to lid and toning to finish; otherwise good condition.
