Most letters discuss Robert-Houdin's life, works and publications, and some of Sharpe's translations of Robert-Houdin's memoir and letters are attached to these letters. Other contents include general information about the "father of modern magic," general magic history, personal pleasantries and current magical gossip. Most are one-page aerograms, primarily dating to 1957 and '58. Generally good condition. Should be seen.
