Ireland, Laurie Lowell. L.L. Ireland's own Cups and Balls. Set of three spun aluminum cups and three blue sponge balls made, designed and used by Chicago magician and magic dealer L.L. Ireland. This design was later refined and marketed, along with Ireland's routine for the trick, through the Ireland Magic Co. 4" high, with the mouth 3 1/8" in diameter. With a note in Jay Marshall's hand attesting to the provenance of the cups. Some pitting and wear; good condition.
