Tumbler Pedestal (Handkerchief Pedestal). Los Angeles, F.G. Thayer, ca. 1935. Turned wooden pedestal on which the magician rests a drinking glass, which he covers with a handkerchief. When the cloth is later removed, a vanished silk handkerchief has appeared inside the glass. Spring loaded mechanism. 8 5/8" high. Light wear to finish on base, otherwise good condition.
