Handkerchief Globe (Stage Size). Maker unknown (likely English), ca. 1880. Large spun brass vase which allows the performer to transform a quantity of burning cotton batting into crisp, bright silk handkerchiefs, and perform similar effects. 12 ¼" tall, 5 ¼" at its widest point. Very good condition. Uncommon in this size.
