Elliott, Dr. James William. Four albumen print photographs of Dr. Elliott. Boston, Naismith Photographer, ca. 1900. Four early images of the famed and self-proclaimed "Challenge Champion Kard [sic] Manipulator of the World," including one bust portrait, SIGNED AND INSCRIBED TWICE (on the image and on verso), and three pictures of Elliott's hands, numbered on the negatives 234, 235 and 236, and showing Elliott's "take" for a false deal. All on embossed mounts with light wear and one pinhole, but overall very good condition. Scarce.
