Sympathetic Silk Stand. American [?], ca. 1925. Chrome-plated stand, which, while appearing innocent, facilitates the performance of the Sympathetic Silk trick in which knots vanish and appear in a set of silk handkerchiefs in sympathy with a matching set of hanks in the magician's hands. 14 ¼" high. Small dents to pedestal, but overall good condition. Uncommon.
