Uncanny Silk Casket. Bridgeport Connecticut, Sherms, ca. 1940. A stainless steel box is shown empty by opening its doors. A moment later, a quantity of silk handkerchiefs are produced from inside it. Includes an extra load chamber. With original box. Load chamber hallmarked. Good condition. One of many unauthorized version of the famous Demon Wonder Box first marketed by Lewis Davenport & Co. of London.
