DeVere writes to Herman Sanford Paine, owner of the "old reliable" Chicago Magic Co. regarding business matters, Harlan Tarbell, including tricks DeVere is manufacturing and selling, among them a Vanishing Birdcage and pull, with elaborate illustrations in DeVere's hand. On DeVere's pictorial letterhead and company stationery. 1920s. Some splitting at folds, but overall good condition.
