Larry Rivers (American, 1923-2002), "Those Who Fire, Those Who Run"-1970, serigraph and mixed media on paper from "Boston Massacre" series, signed lower right in pencil, limited edition noted in pencil above "43/1150". Work depicting a row of soldiers at top (some with outlines of form and absence of body) above outlined figures fighting and on ground--some accented in hot pink and blue, overall on silver ground. Framed approximately 27.125" x 35". Sight size of floating sheet within frame approximately 19" x 27". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Benno & Babette Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia. Note: The artist's "Boston Massacre" series highlighted the struggle for freedom and civil liberties in a series of thirteen work on paper.
