Chinese export rose medallion porcelain oblong meat dish with recessed veins leading to recessed well at end for catching juices, top hand painted with enamels depicting alternating C scroll bordered medallions with scenes of courtly figures and birds and butterflies amid fruit and flowers, gilt accents throughout. Unmarked. Overall approximately 11.4" x 15.25". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Ms. Kathleen Morrison, Alpharetta, Georgia.
