Poul Kjaerholm (Danish, 1929-1980), PK-61 brushed stainless steel coffee table base of minimal and modern rectilinear form. Table with four legged bars joined with crossing supports above table top (missing). Marked with impressed logo for E. Kold Christensen manufacturer above "DENMARK". Base approximate height 12.75", width 32.5", depth 33.5". Note: Table was originally designed in 1955 for E. Kold Christensen and later offered through Herman Miller in the mid to late 1970s. After Kjaerholm's death, production continued through Fritz Hansen. Literature: "The Furniture of Poul Kjaerholm: Catalogue Raisonne´" by Sheridan, 78-81.
