John Sloan (American, 1871-1951), "Seven Toed Pete"-1929, etching on paper, pencil signed lower right margin, titled in pencil lower center, additionally signed and dated lower left of plate matrix, likely from an edition of 75. Figural work depicting a seated mustached man leaning against exterior of a building wearing a sombrero and smoking a cigarette, bare foot with seven toes bracing seven playing cards. Framed approximately 17" x 14". Sight size of sheet in floating frame approximately 12.5" x 9.5". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Benno & Babette Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia.
