After Carlo Dolci (Italian, 1616-1686), unsigned hand painted porcelain plaque with rounded arched top set within fitted niche in deep burgundy matting. Late 19th to early 20th century shaped porcelain plaque hand painted with image after Dolci's 17th century masterwork depicting a Madonna and Child scene with young baby Christ Child resting on a tasseled pillow being tended to by adoring Mary. Pencil inscripton on back of plaque noting Carlo Dolci, no other signs of marks. Overall framed approximately 13.75" x 12". Plaque measures approximately 5.5" x 3.2". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
