Ferdinand Barbedienne (French, 1810-1892), fourth quarter 19th century. A matched pair of Aesthetic patinated bronze three light candelabras, each having a urn finial over three sharply scrolled arms incorporating budding tendrils and suspending chains, the baluster standard encircled by band applied with bearded masks and scroll medallions, on a circular base engraved to the side ' F. BARBEDIENNE' and resting on three paw feet. Approximate height 18", width 8", diameter of base 4".
