Continental School, 19th century. A small painted and stained glass roundel depicting the Celtic god called Green Man and named Esus or Erriapus, the protector of nature and the earth mother, with a beastly figure having three leaves extending from his open mouth and surrounding his crowned head. Approximate diameter 4.575".
