Continental, 20th century. French Empire style stained wood and parcel gilt decorated console or pier table having a rectangular molded simulated marble top with projecting corners over a diaper frieze decorated with large stylized gilt scrolling foliage uniting the four cabriole legs headed with gilt carved ram's masks and joined by wavy cross shaped stretcher centered ram's mask and terminating on hairy hoof feet. Approximate height 33.8", width 59.25", depth 32.25".
