Italian, late 18th century. A Baroque style carved oak refectory or library table of rectangular form bearing a thick 2-plank wooden top surmounting smaller rectangular case, the front and side aprons with rectangular panel(s) with four incised fan corners, the front with a sliding door revealing single interior compartment, altogether raised on four paneled baluster legs - the 2 in front being proportionally narrower - joined with block stretchers to each side. Approximate height 31.5", width 67.5", depth 32.5".
